Maths Puzzle
Q. If the ratios of speed of A and B is 4:5 and A takes 20 minutes more than B to cover the distance then how much time does A take?
Read Solution (Total 1)
-
- speed is inversely proportional to time i.e s1/s2=t2/t1
here given s1/s2=4/5
here also given A takes 20 mins more than B
assume B takes x mins,den A ll take (x+20) mins
so s1/s2=t2/t1
4/5=x/(x+20)
4x+80=5x
x=80
therefore B takes 80 mins & A take (x+20) i.e 80+20=100 mins - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
