A total amount of Rs.1560 is to be divided between A,B and C such that A gets 50% of what B gets and B gets 20% of what C gets.How much will each of them get ?

B=20% of C......eqn2
Since, A+B+C=1560. .. ....eqn 3
A=50B/100
C=100B/20 ( from above equations 1&2)
Putting these values in eqn 3, we get
50B/100+B+100B/20=1560
(10B+20B+100B)/20=1560
B=240

A=120
B=240
