A man goes out for a walk. He walks 1mile to the south, then 1 mile to the east and finally 1 mile to the north and ends up in the same place he started. now he dint started at north pole,for sure. . .so where did he ?

select a place from the south pole such that the circumference at that place around the globe is 1 mile. Then go straight 1 mile up from that place. that is the point where he is. ( go south 1 mile from that point, turn towards east and go around that circle for 1 mile then you will turn up at the same place and then turn north and go 1 mile up, you will end up at the same place where you started)
