A reduction of 10% in the price of sugar enables a man to buy 25 kg more for Rs. 225. What is the original price of sugar (per kilogram)?

(225/x) + 25 = 225/0.9x ,solving x=1

10% of original price=25 kg of new sugar price.
(10/100)*225=25*new price(per kg)
new price=9/10=0.9;
So original price=1.

New price = 90%(x) (if a number reduced by 10% it becomes 90% of the original number)

New quantity = 2250.9x

Equating 2250.9x−225x=25
