- 35 in base a = its decimal equivalent given-120
=>3*a^1 + 5*a^0 = 120
=>a = 115/3
similarly,
8*b^1 + 0*b^0 = 120
=>b = 15
and 1*c^2 + 4*c^1 + 3*c^0 = 120
=> c = 9 or -13
therefore, a=115/3,b=15,c=9 or -13
So none of the obtions are correct - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 1*a^2+2*a^1+0*a^0=35 ->> a^2+2a=35 ->> a=5
1*b^2+2*b^1+0*b^0=80 ->> b^2+2b=80 ->> b=8
1*c^2+2*c^1+0*c^0=143 ->> c^2+2c=143 ->> c=11
so a=5, b=8, c=11 Hence in A.P - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
