All faces of a cube with 8meter edge are painted red..if the cube is cut into smaller cube with 2meter edge.how many of 2meter cube have paint on exactly one face?
Plz explain in detail.that is hw many cube will b made firstly then how many is painted red one face...

  Their r 6 faces in cube
  therefore toatal faces painted=6*4=24

• If there are n cubes lie on an edge, then total number of cubes with one side painting is given by 6×(n−2)2. Here side of the bigger cube is 8, and small cube is 2. So there are 4 cubes lie on an edge. Hence answer = 24

  and for geting cube of edge..2m of exactly one face than
  we cut all the edge og 8m cube and than we get 4*4 surface in all the
  six side painted one sie than we make 2m cube
  by one surface we get 4 cube then by six sides...
  4*6= 24
