- to strike 7 times(say n times) it takes 6 breaks(ie,(n-1)) which totally takes 7 seconds.
so the time taken between two successive strikes is 7/6 seconds.
thus to strike 10 times it needs 9 breaks so it will take (7/6)*9 seconds
