A and B can fill a tank in 7.5 & 5 min. Respectivly.and C can carry off 14liter pet min.
If all thr pipes are open when the tank is full ,it is emptied in 60min.the capacity of tank is?

  x=44.21 lit

  now A will add 8x litres of water in 60 min
  and B will add 12x litres of water in 60 min
  x litres of water is present at start.
  x+ 8x+ 12x = 14*60
  21x=14*60
  x=40

• work done by the waste pipe in 1 min=1/60-(1/7.5+1/24)=-19/60
  so volume of 19/60 part=14ltr.
  so whole capacity will be 60*14/19=44.2 ans.

  in 1 min B can fill X/5 lit
  as per question,
  (60min) * (no of lit flowing out per min) = x lit
  => 60 * ( 14- x/5 - x/7.5) = x
  =>14= x/60 + 12X/ 60 + 8X / 60 => x= 40 lit (ans)
