Kamal was 4 times as old as his son 8 years ago. After 8 years, Kamal will be twice as old as his son. Find out the present age of Kamal.

son's age 8 years ago is x. kamal age 8 years ago s 4x. therefor their present age is x+8 and 4x+8. aftr 8 years son age wil be x+16 and kamal age will be 4x+16.
(i.e) 4x+16= 2(x+16) solving we get x=8.
so son's age is 16 and kamal age is 40
