Two boats, one running upstream and the other downstream from points A to B meet after 10 seconds. It is known that one boat has moved 60 m more than the other. If the speed of the stream is 2 m/sec then what is the difference in the speeds of the two boats?

  so in 1 sec that boat is moving 6metre more
  so difference in speed is 6 m/s
