• by using componendo and dividendo rule , we can try this question...
  4x+2y/4x-2y = 4x+2y+4x-2y/4x+2y-4x+2y = 8x/4y = 2x/y....(1)
  as we have given that x/2y=2; x/y=4
  now by putting the value of x/y in equation (1)
  we will get 2*4=8
  Hence 8 can be an answer for this question.
