sorry in confusion i made a mistake..since we should have the sum of two sides greater than third therefore we should have third side greater than 20 in order to get sum greater than third side , ie. 40.

- since the sum of the measures of any two sides of any triangle must be greater than the measure of the third side. So we take the two shortest sides and add them, if the sum is less than or equal to the third side, you DO NOT have a triangle. therfore if we add 20+ 40 we get 60 and if third side is greater than 60 than options should have a side greater than 120(20+40+60) as perimeter.
but since we dont have this ,
therefore we take greatest side to be 40. hence the third side should be less than 20 but not 20. hence our perimeter can nvr be greater or equal to 80.
