- 16
median=(n+1)/2 here for 20 numbers (20+1)/2=10.5 means 11.so 11th term=16
for 19 numbers (19+1)/2=10.so 10th term=18
now 21 numbers=(21+1)/2=11 so answer is 11th term number which is 16. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(16) No(4)
- median is [(n+1)/2]th value
so for 19 numbers median=16
19+1=20/2=10th term =16
for 20 numbers 20+1=21/2=10.5
10th and 11th term avg is 18 now we will get 11th term as 14
for 21 numbers median = 21+1=22/2=11th term =14
ans =14 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(3)
- (10th+11th)/2 = median of 1st 20 no. = 16(given)
median of 1st 29 no. = 18 =which is 10th term in the sequence
now median of 1st 21 no. = 11th term
(18+11th)/2=16
(18+11th)= 32
11th= 32-18 = 14 = median of 1st 21 no. (Ans.) - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(0)
