• She might choose to not give any kitkats. So her ways of giving Kitkats are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 i.e. 5 ways. Similarly for the others. So 5 * 6 * 4. But that includes one case where she gave away none of the three so for "1 or more" chocolates to be given we minus 1.
