Options
1) Rs.360
2) Rs.400
3) Rs.420
4) Rs.300
Read Solution (Total 2)
-
- (d) Let CP of first chair =x
CP of 2nd chair=900-x
so,SP of 1st chair=4x/5
and SP of 2nd chair=(900-X)5/4
Profit=SP-Cp
90=4x/5+(900-X)5/4-900
X=300
1st chair CP=300 and 2nd chair=600

- Total C.P. of both chairs = Rs. 900/-
Profit on selling = Rs. 90/-
Let the C.P. of one chair be Rs. x
S.P. of the chair = Rs. 4/5x
The C.P. other chair Rs. (900 - x)
S.P. of the chair = Rs. 5/4(900-x)
ATP,
Profit = S.P. – C.P.
90 = {4/5x +5/4(900 – x)} – 900
990 *20 = 25x –16x + 25*900
22500-19800= 25x-16x
X= 300/-
