work done by 2 men and 5 women in 12 days = work done by 5 men and 2 women in 9 days
let work done by 1 men in 1 day = M
let work done by 1 women in 1 day = W
so work done by 2 men in 1 day = 2M, work done by 5 women in 1 day = 5W
work done by 2 men and 5 women togther in 12 days = (2M+5W) x 12
similerly work done by 5 men and 2 women in 9 days = (5M+2W) x 9
According to question
(2M+5W) x 12 = (5M+2W) x 9
=> M=2W
=>3W = 3/2M
so work done by 3 Women = [(5M+M) x 9]/[3/2M]
=6M x 9 x 2/3M
