In a race A has a start of 100mtrs and sets off 6 min before B, at the rate of 10km/hr. How soon will B overtake A, if his speed of running is 12 km/hr.

(note that i've converted km to meter & hour to minutes)
Distance run by A in 6 min = 10000/60 * 6 = 1000 meters
A has a start of 1000 + 100 = 1100 mtrs. In order to overtake A, B should gain
1100 mtrs. But B gains 2000 mtrs in 60 min.
