50 minutes ago if it was 4 times as many minutes past 3'o clock. how many minutes there is to 6'o clock? please explain the answer.

- Now let the min left to 6'o clock = x
now present time is = 6hr - x min i.e. 360 min - x min
(Convert Hr into mins)
time before 50 mins to the present time = 360min - x min - 50min
(Present time minus more 50 mins to get time before 50 mins)
but acc to statement 50 mins before the time was = 4x + 3hr i.e. 4x min + 180 min
therefore the eqation to solve is :
4x + 180 = 360 - x - 50
4x + x = 360-50-180
5x = 130
x = 130/5 = 26
so 26 mins are left to 6'0 clock as we have already persumed x to b that value.
