If Rahul rows 15 km upstream in 3 hours and 21 km downstream in 3 hours, then the speed of the stream is

and speed of stream is Y km/hr.
So the speed of rahul in upstream will be (X-Y)km/hr
So in 3 hr he will travel 3(X-Y)
According to the question,
3(X-Y)=15=>X-Y=5-----------(1)
speed of rahul in downstream will be (X+Y)km/hr
So in 3 hr he will travel 3(X+Y)
According to the question,
3(X+Y)=21=>X+Y=7--------(2)
On solving eqn 1 and 2,
