- 19hrs
1 ft in 1.5 hrs
then 12 ft in 18 hrs
n in the next hr he goes 3 mr ft ie 15 ft.
hence 19 hrs - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(9) No(1)
- frog climbs 3 feet/hr and in next 30 min slips 2 feet. so the frog net (3-2)feet climbs .i.e 1 feet climb in 1.30 hr. to reach to the top of the wall, needs 15 jumps.and each jumps takes 1.30 hr. so total time taken is=15*1.30hr=19.5 hrs

- THE CORRECT ANSWER IS 19 HOURS.
for one feet(3-2 feet=1 feet) it takes 1.5 hours
so for 12 ft, = 12*1.5 = 18 hours and during the next hour it climbs 3 ft. so ans will be (12+3= 15 ft) in 18+1= 19 hrs and after that ly it will fall down 2 feet while resting, so that need not be taken into account. as in 19 hrs it will be at 15 feet frm bottom. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- ans: 19 hours
solution: 1 hour =3 feet and in 50 min rest= -2 feet
hence in 1.5 hours = 3 - 2= 1 feet
now, for the starting 12 he needs 1.5 hrs per feet i.e.
1.5 x 12 = 18 hours
remaining 3 feet can be climbed only in 1 hour ( no need of rest and no slips occur when reached the top)
hence, simply 18+1 = 19 hours.....

- ans: b) 19.5 hrs
total wall len = 15,
at each hour and next half hour frog dist= (3-2)=1
so, every 1.5 hour 1 dist
1.5*13=19.5 hrs
at this stage
frog goes 19.5 + 3 = 22.5 feet
it reaches destination, so he can't sleep at last

- 19hrs after 18 hrs he will reach at 12 feet and next 1 hr he will reach at 15 feet after that he does not need to take rest (or claculation of rest)
- 2 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 19 hrs
look 3 feet in 1 hrs
so total hrs will be 15 hrs
also he takes 30 min , of rest
so he will take 4 rest to reach the top
so 15 (hrs) +4 hrs (30 min +30min + 30min +30min) = 19 hrs - 2 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
