two glasses were filled with 1/3 and 1/4 milk. they were filled with water &then mixed in tumbler. what is the percentage of milk in the resultant.

total water = 2/3 + 3/4 = 17/12
total vol = 2
so % of milk =(7/12/2)*100=175/6

water in 2nd glass=1-1/4=3/4
now in resultant
total milk =1/3+1/4=7/12
total water=2/3+3/4=17/12
total solution=7/12+17/12=24/12
required %=(7/12)*100/(24/12)=29.17

water in second glass= 1-1/4
total milk in tumbler = 1/3 + 1/4=7/12
total water in tumbler = 2/3 + 2/4 = 14/12

total solution in tumbler = total milk + total water, i.e. 7/12 + 14/12 = 21/12

% of milk = milk in tumbler/(milk+water) * 100%
= (7/12) / (21/12) * 100 =33.33 %

One person is wearing Black and White shoes as his pair. If he is having 20 white and 20 Black shoes. What will be the less number of time he have try to take his correct pair of shoes? 3 step of a ladder is immersed in water .if thickness of the steps is 1.5” and distance between the steps is 8” .the tide raise at the rate of 16” per hour for first 6 hrs and then it ebbs at the rate of 8” per hour .after 8 hrs how many steps will be immersed in water.
