what is the remainder when 50! is divided by 16^8??
Read Solution (Total 5)
-
- Ans is zero
16 raise to 8=2 raise to 32, now highest power of 2 divisible by 50! Is 25+12+6+3+1=47
Since 2 raise to 47 is divisible, 2 raise to 32 also will be divisible

- we can say 16^8=2^32.in 50! all d even no is divided by 2.in 50! ,25 even no is available.so 50 factorial is divided by 2^25.no after dividing all even term by 2.remaining terms are 2,4,8,16.....like this because when we divide 4,8,16,32 by 2,we get 2,4,8,16.from 2^32,2^7 is remaining.2*4*8*16=2^10.so 2^7 is easily divisible
there is no remainder. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(19) No(2)
