Given a+b=2412 and 8/25a=2/5b then b=4a/5
on substituting a+4a/5=2412,we get a=1340

=> b=2412-a......(1)
and acc. to problem,
(8/25)a=(2/5)b......(2)
putting (1) in (2)
(8/25)a=(2/5)(2412-a)
on solving we get
a=Rs.1340/-............Ans
