- by verifying the answers +1
92-29=29+34
and 9= 4*2+1 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(3)
- Let the two digit number be 10X + Y ...(1)
(ten's digit is X and unit's digit is Y)
Unit's digit is 1 more than 4 times the ten's place digit
Therefore, i.e Y = 4X + 1 ...(2)
Substituting (2) in (1), the two digit number becomes 10X + (4X + 1) ...(3)
The number after interchanging the digits is 10(4X + 1) + X ...(4)
From question data, we know that the difference between digits interchanged number and actual number is 34 more than the actual number
i.e 10(4X + 1) + X - (10X + (4X + 1)) = 34 + (10X + (4X + 1))
40X + 10 + X - 10X - 4X - 1 = 34 + 10X + 4X + 1
30X - 3X + 9 = 34 + 10X + 4X + 1
27X + 9 = 34 + 10X + 4X + 1
27X + 9 = 34 + 10X + 4X + 1
27X - 14X = 35 - 9
13X = 26
X = 2.
Substituting X = 2 in (3), we get the required two digit number 10X + (4X + 1) = 20 + 8 + 1 = 29.
Hence the answer is 29. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(1)
- ans is d>non of these
let no=10x+y
here y=4x+1
hence
[10*(4x+1)+x]-[10x+(4x+1)]=[10x+(4x+1)]+34
solving x=74/13

- let 10's digit no is x, then unit place digit is 4x+1 Number= (10*x)+(4x+1)
now solve (10(4x+1)+x)-(10x+4x+1)=34 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(4)
- according to 1st condition 5=1*4+1 ,hence option a satisfies again 9=2*4+1 satisfies 1st condition.now (51-15)=36 not equals to 34 and 92-29=63 not equals to 34.so both conditions are not being satisfied.. so answer d) none of these..
