  x+y+z=(7+4+1)= 12

• Here is the concept of leap year..that is 366 days
  30x means 30*4=120 where 4 is apr,jun,sep,nov
  31y means 31*7=217 where 7 is jan,mar,may,jul,aug,oct,dec
  And,29z means 29*1=29 where 1 is feb only...
  
  so, ANSWER IS 4+7+1 i.e equals to 12 :)
