There are 60 slots around a circle, numbered 1 to 60. A man starts from the first slot and jumps to the 5th slot. From there he jumps to the 9th slot and so on. In which slot will he land in his 2200th jump?

• at first write the slots...
  1,5,9,13,17,21,25,29,33,37,41,45,49,53,57,1
  so after the 15th jump it will come to position 1.
  so 2200 mod 15 gives 10
  so it will go the 10 place from 1.it is the 41th slot,check it.

  so 10th place from 1 is 41 ,, so answer is 41

• Hey i have a doubt pls answer it.. we know that at 15th jump he is in 57 slot...
  so in every multiple of 15 he ll be at 57 slot.. ryt?
  as we can see 2190 is the multiple of 15 thus he ll be at 57th slot in 2190th jump.
  now he needs 10 more jumps to complete 2200.. and if we count manually then 10th jump corresponds to 37th slot.. so ans shud be 37.. correct me if i am wrong sumwhre

  so for 2200 jump hi requered 2200/15=146.6 (146*15)=2190
  2200-2190=10 (more required)
  so at the end he will be at 41th slot

  at every 16 jump man goes to slot 1
  so at 2191 jump man will go to slot 1
  so at 2200 jump man has jump 10 times so he will go to 37 slot

  after 14 jump, slot=14*4+1=57 againj in 15th jump, slot=61 ie 1 means from beginning as slots are only 60..therefore after 2200 jump slot= 2200*4 +1=8801 ie 1st slot

  slot no 1 he will jump on 2200th jump
