- the question is wrong ,,one more number should b der ie, 73.09
first 3 numbers arranged as: each successive num is sum of prev num+its lowest significant digit... =(41.45+0.05=41.5...,, 41.5+0.5=42),,
next series is subraction =(18.23-0.03=18.2...,, 18.2-0.2=18)
next series is addition+ (73.09+0.09=73.18)
so ans is 73.18 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(27) No(4)
- The correct series is 41.45,41.5,42,18.23,18.2,18,73.09
for the first three numbers, each successive number is the sum of the previous number plus the addition of its lowest significant digit
(41.45 + 0.05 = 41.5) (41.5 + 0.5 = 42)
For the next three numbers, the successive number is the previous number minus the previous lowest significant digit
(18.23 - 0.03 = 18.2) (18.2 - 0.2 = 18)
So if the pattern is alternating between those two patterns, the next number would be (73.09 + 0.09 = 73.18)

- 41.45 41.5 42 18.23 18.2 18 73.09
next number will be 73.1 after rounding off msb - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(8) No(0)

- amswer is 20
simply by converting the significant digits
say 41.45-> 41.5-> 42
18.23->18.2->18->20 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(10)
- ans is 73.1, when we cosider first 3 numbers as sequence then difference is 0.05 and 0.5 similarly 0.03 and 0.2 for next number 73.09 add 0.01 since from sequence first number has 2 digits after decimal and second number has 1 digit after decimal third number has no digits ,this follows for next 18.23,18.2,18 . so to get 1 digit after decimal add 0.01
