A man goes upstream for 10 km in 5 hour .another man goes downstream for 10 km in 3 hour .if speed of stream is 15 km/h what is the difference in speed of both men.

  upstream = 15-2 = 13 kmph
  downstream = 15+10/3 = 18.33 kmph

• the question is wrong. when the speed of the stream downstream is 15 km per hour, how does the person take 3 hours to cover 10 km? he will cover 15 x 3 + his speed for 3 hours distance. so the data is wrong

  speed of man=x
  x-15=10/5
  x=17
  in case of downstream,
  speed of man=y
  y+15=10/3
  y=55/3
  diffrence of speed=y-x
  55/3-17=1.3333
