Arun wanted to find the largest number of 4 digits such that when added to 7249 generated a number that gave a remainder 0 when devided by 54, 12, 14, 21, 33. Find the number.

first we have to find the LCM of all the given numbers which is 8316
now twice the LCM is 16632..and thus 16632-7249 gives 9383...which is the ans..

As we have to find 4 digit no.
LCM=8316
But the other mulitples can also b there (8316,8316*2,8316*3.....) which gives remainder zero.
Now taking 8316,8316-7249=1047
taking 8316*2, 16632-7249=9383
taking 8316*3, 24948-7249=17699, which is of 5 digits
