  now,
  By adding the alternate terms we get,

  therefore value of p=9

  so,31q is divisible by 8.so the value of q is 2(rule of divisible by 8).
  and if the no is divisible by 11=(sum of digits at odd places-sum of digits at even places) is either 0 r no divisible by 11=16-7-p=9-p.so the value of p=9

  LAST THREE DIGIT IS DIVISIBLE BY 8 WITHOUT ANY REMINDER SO I TAKEN q=2 BECAUSE 312 IS DIVISIBLE .

  SUM OF ODD PALCE DIGIT- SUM OF EVEN PLACE DIGIT IS 0 OR 11

• As 88=11*8 so we check divisibility of number with 8 and 11.
  Ans=11;
  Because when we can use only 2 for q to make it divisible by 8 as the last 3 digits are checked for divisibility of 8. s 88=11*
  And for divisibility of 11 the difference between the sum of digits at odd places and sum of digits at even places must be 11 or 0. Hence condition is satisfied only by putting 9 at place of p. Hence the answer is
  p+q=9+2=11.........
