after 38 liters of petrol were poured into the tank. it was still 5% empty. how much petrol must be poured int the tank in order to fill it?

  let x be the capacity of tank then,
  x*0.05=x-38
  on solvng this we get d result.

  x=40
  40-38=2
  ans is 2 liters

  Tank comtain 95% of petrol
  So equate 95------------38
  Find 5----------------?

  So two liters petrol equal to 5%
