The simple interest accrued on an amount of Rs.40,000 at the end of three years is Rs.12,000.What would be the compound interest accrued on the same amount at the same rate in the same period?
Read Solution (Total 4)
-
- 12000/3=4000
4000/40000*100=10% rate,so in compound intrest amount to principal ratio is=(11/10)^3..ie.1331/1000
if we want to find CI thn...(1331-1000)/1000*40,000....u ll get CI=13240
and amount=13240+40000=53240 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(0)
- SI=(P*R*T)/100; 40000=(12000*3*R)/100
R=10% APPLYING THE FORMULA OF CI=P(1+(R/100))/^N
THUS CI=53240 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- CI=A+P
A=53240
CI=53240+40000
=93240 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(3)
- Here S. I. =C. I.
SO 4000 ON first year
4000+400 on 2nd year
4000+400+400+40 on 3rd year
Count all these, we get 13240 - 7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
