A boy wants to make cuboids of dimension 5m, 6m and 7m from small cubes of 0.03 m3. Later he realized, he can make same cuboids by making it hollow. Then it takes some cubes less. What is the number of the cubes to be removed?
a) 2000 b) 5000 c) 3000 d) 7000

- answer is 5000
=((5*6*7)-((5-2)*(6-2)*(7-2)))/0.03
=5000 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(2)
- volume of cuboids 5*6*7=210
no. of cube required = 210/.03=7000
now dimension of hollow part will be (5-.03*2)*(6-.03*2)*(7-.03*2)=203.644
now divide it by .03 we get 6789 approx
answer is 6789 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(12)
- 5000 is the answerrrrrrrrrrr
- 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(3) No(1)
- volume of removed cubes=(5-2)*(6-2)*(7-2)=60m^3
so no of removed cube=60/0.03=2000
so ans is a)2000 - 13 years agoHelpfull: Yes(2) No(7)
- Answer is 2000.
