- Q is a prime num,but 3Q is not a prime num coz it is a multiple of 3.suppose Q is 13 then 3Q is 39.... 3 divides 39 in three equal parts.hence the smallest positive num which divides 3Q is 3....2 didn't divide any prime num coz any prime other than 2 is not an even num.
