• no of triangle=(87-1)/2=43
  no of rectangle=43/2=21

• given 87=29 * 3 so for eg:if 4 sticks are there then no of rectangles formed ==>
  4(sticks)/4(sides)=1 rectangle is formed ; no of triangles= 4/3 =1 triangle is formed
  now for 29(sticks) the no.of triangles formed = (29/3)=9 now for 87 sticks it is 9*3=27 triangles are formed with 87 sticks
  similarly for 29 sticks rectangles formed => (29/4)=7 for 87(29*3) sticks it is
  7*3= 21 rectangles

• no of triangle is 62 and no of rectangle is 21.suppose there are 5 matchsticks then no of rectangle=1 and no of triangle is 2.suppose there are 9 matchsticks arrenged in rectangular manner then no. of rectangle is 2 and no of triangle is 5
  .and so on in 87 matchsticks 85 matchsticks will form 62 triangle and 21 rectangle.2 matchstick will not form anything

  39/3=13 triangles
