9 years ago andromedhas age was twice achillees age. 9 years hence,andromedha age will be 4/3 times the age of achilles.find hte andromedha present age in binary numbers?

- Let andromedhas and achillees present age be x and y respectively.
now according to 1st condition
(x-9)=2*(y-9)
i.e.,x-2y=-9.....eq(1)
second condition
(x+9)=4/3(y+9)
i.e.,3x-4y=9.....eq(2)
solving eq 1 and 2 we get
x=27
On converting it into binary we get 11011==ans(a) - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(27) No(0)
- am-9 = 2(ac-9) [eq.1] am+9=4/3(ac+9) [eq2].

Hence 9 years thier ages x+18,y+18

According to first condition,
(a - 9) = 2(b-9)
=> a - 9 = 2b - 18
=> a - 2b = - 9
=> 2a - 4b = - 18 ---------(1)
According to second condition,
( a + 9) = 4 /3 ( b + 9)
=> 3a + 27 = 4b + 36
=> 3a - 4b = 9 -------(2)
On subtracting equation 1 from 2, we get
a = 9 + 18
a = 27
Now,
a - 2b = - 9
=> 27 - 2b = - 9
=> 2b = 36
=> b = 18
Andromedha's present age = 27 years
Achillees's present age = 18 years
27 in binary is 11011
