In a class of 108 students studying Maths, English or both; boys and girls are in the ratio of 5: 4. The number of boys studying only Maths is 80% of the girls studying only Maths and the number of boys studying only English is twice that of the girls studying only English. The total number of boys studying Maths is half of the total number of boys in the class. Number of girls studying only English is 60% of the girls studying only Maths. What is the number of students studying both Maths and English?

From given,no. of boys in class = 60
no. of girls in class = 48
Since no. of tot maths-boys = half the no. of tot boys
= 30
Therefore, only eng-boys =60-30=30
Now since,only eng-boys = 2(only eng-girls)
only eng-girls = 30/2 = 15
so tot maths-girls = 48-15 = 33
and since only eng girls = 60%(only maths-girls)
therefore only maths-girls = 15*100/60 = 25
Now tot no. of girls studying both maths n eng = 33-25=8....(1)
And since only maths-boys = 80%(only maths-girls),
no. of only maths-boys = 80*25/100 = 20
Therefore,tot no. of boys studying both maths n eng = 30-20=10....(2)
