a milk vendor has 2 cans of milk.first contain 25% water and rest milk.seond contain 50% milk.how much milk should be mixed from each of the container so as to get 12 litres of milk such that ratio of water to milk is 3:5?

so by allegatation technique,
1/4 1/2
5/8
1/8 : 1/8 == 1:1
we get 1:1 hence we need to mix 6ltrs each from two cans as total is 12ltrs..
