20 men can do a piece of work in 30 days. After how many days should 5 men leave so that the work is completed in 35days?

by solving these 2 equations we get x=15 days .....

15 men in 35-x days will do (35-x)/40 work.
s0, x/30 + (35-x)/40 =1
=> x=15 days

then 15 men do the work in '35-x' days
so (x)20M+(35-x)15M=1(equate to 1 since the work is completed)
x/30+(35-x)*15/600=1
x/30+(35-x)/40=1

NOW COMES THE QUESTIONS WHICH I DIDN'T FIND ON ANY WEBSITES SOLVED THEM MYSELF. ACCORDING TO ME ALL ANSWERS ARE 100% CORRECT. BUT IF ANY ANSWERS ARE WRONG PLEASE LET ME KNOW...HO SAKTA HAI KOI GALAT HO.
6. TWO CIRCLES INTERSECT AT TWO POINTS.MAKING AN ANGLE OF 90 DEGREE AT THE CENTRE OF EACH CIRCLE. MEANING TO SAY IF WE WILL JOIN THE POINT OF INTERSECTION TO CENTRE OF EACH CIRCLE THE ANGLE SUBTANDED WILL BE 90 DEGREE. WE HAVE TO FIND THE AREA COMMON TO BOTH THE CIRCLES.
SOLUTION: I HOPE U ALL GOT THE QUESTION. SOLUTION IS EASY
90 DEGREE AT CENTRE MEANS A QUARTER CIRCLE WOULD HAVE BEEN SUBTANDED AT BOTH THE CIRCLES.

I KNOW ITS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND WITHOUT A FIGURE SEE THE GEOMETRY SECTION OF ARUN SHARMA AND SEARCH AREA OF SECTOR. U WILL EASILY GET THE CONCEPT. EVEN THEN IF U ARE NOT ABLE TO GET THE QUESTION PLS COMMENT..I WILL UPLOAD THE FIGURE.
7. A,B,C,D ARE 4 NUMBERS. V,X,Y,Z ARE SUM OF ANY 3 NUMBERS TAKEN AT A TIME. (VALUES OF U,V,Y,Z) WAS GIVEN BUT I DIDN'T REMEMBER THAT NOW. FIND THE LARGEST NUMBER AMONG A,B,C,D.
SOLUTION: WITH A HEAVY HEART I BEGAN SOLVING THESE FOUR EQUATIONS
A+B+C=V
B+C+D=X
A+C+D=Z
A+B+D=u
BUT I WAS LUCKY THE FIRST VALUE I GOT WAS THE LARGETS ONE GIVEN IN THE OPTIONS. SO I MARKED THAT. DUNN REMEMBER MUCH BUT YES THE ANSWER HAD DIGIT 7 IN IT.
8. 1+9+9+8= 27. 1998 IS A YEAR. WHEN NEXT WE ARE GOING TO GET A SUM OF 27. I MEAN WHICH YEAR WILL BE THE NEXT ONE AFTER 1998 TO FILL THIS CONDITION.
Easy one there will be 4 ranges of years given answer is 2988 or 2889 sumthing like that juss confirm the choices coz they are asking the next year to fill this choice coz both 2889 and 2988 are filling this condition but 2889 is correct coz it comes b4 2988
