- sorry we have to take hcf which is 24
total no of rooms = 120/24+192/24+144/24=19 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(36) No(0)
- We have to find the maximum number which divides all the given numbers so that number of roots get minimized.
HCF of 120,192 & 144 is 24.
Each room have 24 students of the same course.
Then rooms needed (120/24)+(192/24)+(144/24) = 5 +8 + 6 = 19 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(10) No(0)
- I think we should take lcm of 120,192,144 which is 2880

- HCF of 120,192,144 is 24 so number of rooms required is (120/24)+(192/24)+(144/24)
which is equal to 19 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- hcf is 24
total no of rooms = 120/24+192/24+144/24=19
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
