A man deposit certain amount as fixed deposit at the rate of r% compounded annually.
If he accrued rs 17280 and 20736 as intrest in 4 and 5 year respectively,then how much he total accrued in 1st 3 years??

If Amount=x, Interest rate=r
Sum total accrued after 4 years= x[1+(r/100)]^4=17280 ---(i)
Sum total accrued after 5 years= x[1+(r/100)]^5=20736 ---(ii)
From (i) & (ii), 17280[1+(r/100)]=20736, solving r=20
From (i) ,x=17280*625/1296
