today I had my written test and the questions are:
1. 1-2+3-4...-98+99
my ans is 50
2.some credit card question sum of 3 consecutive odd digits is given a value and the answer is 3
3. probability of getting sum as 5 before 7 when 3 dice are thrown.
4. jack and paul question which is repeatedly posted in m4maths ans is 4km/hr.
5.some data interpretation question ans is eesha who has the largest number.
5. 5 sharp angles of a star and some figure was given ans is 36*5=180
6.In the equation A + B + C + D + E = FG where FG is the two digit number whose value is 10F + G and letters A, B , C , D , E, F and G each represent different digits. If FG is as large as possible. What is the value of G? but 2 was not given in the option so it is dummy.
7.In a office, at various times during the day the boss gives the secretary a letter to type, each time putting the letter on the top of the pile in the secretary’s inbox. When there is time, the secretary takes the top letter off the pile and type’s it. If there are five letter in all , and the boss delivers in the order of 1 2 3 4 5, which of the following could NOT be the order in which secretary types them. (a) 2 4 3 5 1 (b) 4 5 2 3 1 (c) 3 2 4 1 5 (d) 1 2 3 4 5
8.there are 87 match sticks how many triangles are formed?

- Ques 8: 1st take 3 match stick n make a triangle. 87-3=84 matchsticks remaining, 1 triangle.
After this add 2 matchsticks n repeat till all match sticks are used. Triangles formed=84/2=42. So total=43 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)

- ans for 1: +50
1=1
1-2=-1 (2+1)/2=1.5.. take 1(whole no)
1-2+3=2 (3+1)/2=2
1-2+3-4=-2 (4+1)/2=2.5=2(whole no)
1-2....+5=3
.

.
1-2....+99=50 (99+1)/2=50
