My house has a number.
1. If my house number is a multiple of 3, then it is number from 50 through 59. 2. If my house number is not a multiple of 4, then it is a number from 60 through 69. 3. If my house number is not a multiple of 6, then it is a number from 70 through 79. What is my house number?
(a) 56
(b) 68
(c) 76
(d) 72

• (C)76 will be the answer it satisfies all situation.

• We have 3 conditions
  (1)If my house number is a multiple of 3, then it is number from 50 through 59
  (2) If my house number is not a multiple of 4, then it is a number from 60 through 69
  (3) If my house number is not a multiple of 6, then it is a number from 70 through 79
  
  now considered 3 is multiple , but in options we have 56(number from 50 through 59) which is not multiple of 3 .
  now please understand that if a number is not multiple of 3 then it would not be multiple of 6 also.
  [(6,12,18,24,30,36,42,48,54,60,66,72,78,84,90) are multiple of 3 and also multiple of 6 ]
  since please remove two option which cannot be considered 56,68.
  now we are left with 76 and 72 .
  only we are left with condition of 4 multiple
  since both are multiple of 4 . but 76 is answer because I have explained that 3and 6 multiple are not involved ,so therefore 72 (which is multiple of 3 and 6 are removed )
  I think it is much more explained now!
  Answer is 76.
