how can you calculate 45 minutes if each candels takes 1 hour to burn.

- Assume there are two candels.
Place both candels horizontally in opposite direction and light both candels simultaneously. Clearly , in 30 minutes both candle will be half burnt
Now again arrange remaining both 'half' candle in opposite direction and note the time till the flames of both candels meet. They will meet in 15 minutes.
