There are 6 working days in a regular week and for each day, the working hours are 10. A man earns Rs. 2.10 per hour for regular work and Rs. 4.20 per hour for overtime. If he earns Rs.525 in 4 weeks, how many hours did he work?

hours he worked in regular work = 6 x 10 x 4 = 240 hours
Rs. earned in regular work in 4 weeks = 240 x 2.10 = Rs. 504
Rs. earned in over time work = 525 - 504 = Rs. 21
hours he worked in over time = 21/4.20 = 5 hours
Total hours he worked = 240 + 5 = 245 hours. ANS.
