There were three different gloves. 13 red, 27 black and 40 green. How many gloves one has to take so as to ensure that there is at least one pair in each color?

• First consider the worst case,ie 40 greens then 27 blacks now the only color that is not picked is red so pick 2 red and you'l get a pair of each color.
  so it is 40+27+2=69.

• I think it should be 40+27+1=68....as black & green total 67 out of 80 so if we select 68 then all colours atleast one gloves is selected in 68
