15. The probability of a man hitting a target is 0.13. He gets into a game where he gets Rs. 3 on hitting the target and loses 50p on missing. He has to pay Rs. 2 to enter the game. Should he play it?

• He shouldnt play the game (suppose 100 games are played);because he loses 2+(85*0.5) rupees
  Whereas he wins only 13*3 rupees if he wins
  So in total he loses money...

• NO because the probablity of not hitting on target is more than four times of the hitting if we use that all the first four hits are not properly target so that He has lose more than 2 rs so ANS= NO

  probability of hitting a target is 0.13
  when we compare both probabilities he has a high chance of losing the game so it is better not to play the game
