- let c1 and c2 be the cost of two types of sugar and q1 & q2 be their quantities.
c1=6.75 , q1=80 ,c2=8 ,q2=120
cost of the mixture=c=(c1q1+c2q2)/q1+q2
c=7.5
to have a gain of 20% the cost of the mixed sugar will become
7.5+1.5=9
therefore vimal will sell the mixed sugar @ Rs.9/kg to gain 20%.
