Read Solution (Total 15)
-
- 10 meters
Distance= 2*(hypotenuse of right angled triangle with side 4m. and 3 m.)
=2*Sqrt(4^2+3^2)=2*5= 10

- let they started travel from (0,0) along +ve and -ve x-axis
their final position will be (-4,-3) & (4,3)
so distance betn two can be calculated by distance formula
d=sqroot[(4+4)^2 + (3+3)^2]=10 metres
or,sketch their path
d=2*Sqrt(4^2+3^2)=2*5= 10 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(18) No(1)
- back to back.. so they travelled 4m in straight and left by 3m. so they changed to opppsite drn on taking left. so by pythagorous theorem 5 + 5 m are left between them. so answer is 10m

- guys...we 've 2 find distance between them....Distance is 14mts and displacement is 10 mts...i think....??

- here,w'll get 2 Rtriangles,
distance=hyp1+hyp2.
hyp1=sqt(4^2+3^2)=5;
hyp2=sqt(4^2+3^2)=5;
so,d=10m - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- using pythogores we can solve tis
ans: 10 - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(1)
- 10 meters.
travelled 4m in straight and left by 3m.
then we get 2 triangles. for each,hypo is 5m so ans is 10.

- apply pythagorus rule a = sqrt(b^2 + c^2)
a = sqrt(4^2 + 3^2)
a = sqrt (16 + 9)
a = sqrt(25)
a = 5
then tat side also same 5 + 5 = 10
