Read Solution (Total 10)
-
- first he collect 1 ball of each colour when he take out next ball first pair comes out
so 25 + 15+2=42 ans

- The solution can be derived as:
Since out of 25 pink, 15 orange, 12 white balls, there are maximum number of pink balls so up to the 25th ball also we would not be sure that we have got a pair of each.
So, We must take out 25 balls.
Even still taking out 27 balls also does not guarantee us,that the required condition is met.So,
The minimum number of balls to be drawn=25+15+2=42.
Since after withdrawing the 42nd ball we are 100% that we exhausted both the possibilities of withdrawing orange and pink balls ans we a pair of each ball with different colour. - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(6) No(1)
- Take all 25+15+2, so that either of the counting will consist of 12 white, 15 orange and 25 pink balls
so 25 + 15+2=42 ans - 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- ans=42. we have to take worst possible case in these type of qn. so max. way=(25+15+2)=42

- here options are givn odrwise it can have 3 ans 29 ,39,42
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(1) No(0)
- 42 to be 100% sure and (12+15+2)=29 can also give 2 pairs of each type
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(1)
- 42
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- he must take out all 42 (12+15+25).. now he can make sure that he has a pair of each color....
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- 25 + 15+2=42
- 11 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
- SHORT CUT:
highest value+next value +2
25+15+2
=42 - 10 years agoHelpfull: Yes(0) No(0)
